What are the service restrictions on JPY deposits made through Pay-easy or convenience stores in Japan?

For security reasons, deposited JPY and any crypto assets (virtual currency) purchased with that JPY cannot be withdrawn for 7 days.

The restriction is lifted after 7 days (168 hours) have elapsed, counted from the date and time of the deposit.

(Example: April 1, 10:00 – on or after April 8, 10:00)

These restrictions do not apply to trading. Please make your deposit with this in mind. The services subject to restrictions and the method for calculating the withdrawable amount are as follows.

■ Formula for Calculating the Available Amount for JPY Withdrawals, Crypto Asset Transfers, etc.

(X) Customer's total assets, at the time the restricted service is used
= (held crypto asset volume × the market price of that crypto asset (*)) + held JPY amount

(Y) Total amount of the relevant deposits during the 7 days counted back from the time the restricted service is used

(Z) Available amount for withdrawal = (X) − (Y)

(Example) Assuming 1 BTC = 1,000,000 JPY
(X) = 1 BTC × 1,000,000 JPY = 1,000,000 JPY
(Y) = 500,000 JPY
(Z) = 1,000,000 JPY − 500,000 JPY

If a customer who has not completed identity verification makes such a deposit, crypto asset (virtual currency) transfers, QR code payments at BIC CAMERA, and Bitcoin donations will be unavailable until we have confirmed receipt of the registered mail we send for identity verification. Depending on the circumstances, the timing at which the restriction is applied may vary

If you are not able to log in:
