Recurring Buy

The methods for PC and smartphone users are described below.

PC web browser:

1. After logging in, select Recurring Buy from the left side of the interface.

2. From the currencies listed under “Not selected”, choose the one you want to set recurring purchases for. Then, set the frequency, next purchase date, and amount. Then, press confirm.

3. An interface titled “Please confirm the purchase schedule” will appear. Confirm the details displayed and press the confirmation button.

Smartphone web browser:

1. After logging in, select Menu and then Recurring Buy.

2. From the currencies listed under “Not selected”, choose the one you want to set recurring purchases for. Then, set the frequency, next purchase date, and amount. Then, press confirm.

3. An interface titled “Please confirm the purchase schedule” will appear. Confirm the details displayed and press the confirmation button.

bitFlyer app for smartphones:

1. There are three ways to access Recurring Buy after logging in to the app.

・From the Buy/Sell interface, select a currency you do not have recurring purchases set for and scroll down past the Related News section. Press “Set recurring buy.”

・After completing an order on Buy/Sell, scroll down to select “Set recurring buy.”

・From the menu in the bottom right, select “Recurring Buy.”

2. After reading the information presented, scroll down to the bottom of the screen and press “Set recurring buy.”

3. From the currencies listed under “Not selected”, choose the one you want to set recurring purchases for. Then, set the frequency, next purchase date, and amount. Then, press confirm.

4. An interface titled “Please confirm the purchase schedule” will appear. Confirm the details displayed and press the confirmation button.

The method for cancellation varies by device.

PC web browser:

1. After logging in, select Recurring Buy from the left side of the interface.

2. From the currencies listed under “Scheduled purchases”, click the delete button to the right.

3. A confirmation interface will appear. After confirming the details displayed, press the Delete button.

Smartphone web browser:

1. After logging in, select Menu and then Recurring Buy.

2. From the currencies listed under “Scheduled purchases”, click the delete button to the right.

3. A confirmation interface will appear. After confirming the details displayed, press the Delete button.

bitFlyer app for smartphones:

1. After logging in, from the menu in the bottom right, select “Recurring Buy.”

2. The currency you have scheduled for purchase will appear at the top of the interface. From there, select the currency you wish to cancel.

3. Press the delete button to cancel your scheduled purchases.

*Timing of cancellation for Recurring Buy:

The cancellation will be applied on the following scheduled purchase date upon completing the cancellation procedure.

However, if you cancel it on the day of a purchase, the result of the cancellation will depend on when the cancellation is completed.

-If you make the cancellation in the morning (JST) of the scheduled purchase date, it will apply on the same day.

-If you make the cancellation in the afternoon (JST) of the scheduled purchase date, it will apply from the next purchase onward.

You can schedule automatic purchases while the Buy/Sell service is unavailable.

The minimum order size is 1 JPY. The maximum order size is 1,000,000 JPY.

The available frequencies are daily, weekly, twice a month (on the 1st and 15th), and monthly (any day between the 1st and the 28th).

*Recurring purchases can not be made on the same day that they are set up.

*The specific time of day for the purchase can not be set. bitFlyer may set any time of its choosing.

*Purchases may not be made in the event of a system failure or other reason. In such cases, the next purchase will not be made until the next scheduled purchase.

The purchase will be made with the JPY deposited in your bitFlyer account.

If your balance is insufficient at the time of purchase, no purchase will be made.
