You can fund your bitFlyer account by initiating the wire transfer from either your local branch or your bank's website. It will vary bank to bank on how to initiate a wire online but most banks will have the option to send a wire transfer to an external bank account. Be sure to select Wire Transfer when sending your funds as we are not able to accept ACH transfers.
To initiate a wire transfer at your local branch, just bring bitFlyer's bank account information with you (This can be found on the Account Funding page) and fill out the wire transfer slip. It's very important to remember to include your unique 6-digit code in the Memo or Details field as it is required to process your deposit.
Before sending your deposit to fund your account, be sure to check the following:
- Your unique 6-digit code has been included.
- The transaction is a wire transfer and not an ACH transfer.
- The bank account title is matching the name on your bitFlyer account.
- Individual accounts cannot be funded by a corporate account, and vice versa.
- Wire transfers cannot be made with international bank accounts.
