Issuance amount

The issuance amount of Bitcoin refers to the amount of Bitcoin that is newly issued or the amount that has been issued in the past. Bitcoin that is newly issued is called a "Mining reward" (coinbase). Miners who generate new blocks by mining receive this Bitcoin as a reward.

The amount of Bitcoin to be issued is 21 million BTC, and it is expected to reach that limit in 2140.
