Relay transaction

Since P2P networks do not have a central administrator, each network participant transmits information to other participants; which is then sent to other participants. This process is repeated to share information throughout the network. This structure of information sharing is referred to as relay transactions since it functions similarly to a relay race. In the case of Bitcoin, it is used to share the most recent block data.
