Joel Edgerton

Joel Edgerton actively helps leading web3 companies grow and innovate their businesses in a safe and compliant manner. Born and raised in the USA, he has worked for major technology and finance companies internationally for 25 years (IBM, State Street, Citigroup, BNP Paribas, Ledger, bitFlyer). He has executive management experience in technology, operations, sales, and change management positions covering global teams. 

Joel holds an MBA in international finance. He studied Japanese at Waseda University and lived in Japan for 13 years where he gained a deep respect and love for the country, its culture and people. Joel currently serves as Director of bitFlyer Holdings, Inc., as well as Director and CEO of bitFlyer USA, Inc.
