Ami Nagata

After spending her childhood in New York State, USA, Ms. Nagata graduated from elementary, junior high, and high school in Tokyo. She graduated from Keio University with a degree in Law, and worked at the Tokyo office of McKinsey & Company Japan before obtaining an MBA from HEC School of Management in Paris, France. She went on to work as a marketing manager at BNP Paribas Securities in London, before joining Goldman Sachs Asset Management K.K. in Tokyo. She later moved to Lyon, France, and has lived in Luxembourg since 2012.

After working for French and Japanese financial institutions, mainly in investment funds and project management, Ms. Nagata joined bitFlyer EUROPE S.A. as COO in 2021. Currently, she manages the international EU team as Authorized Manager and CEO of bitFlyer EUROPE S.A.
