How do I change my screen name on bitFlyer Lightning?

If you'd like to participate in the chat but want to change your user name, you can do so from the the "Settings" menu. To access the "Settings" page, click on the circle with three lines on the top left of the bitFlyer Lightning page.

Click on "Settings" and scroll down to the "Chat Settings" section. From there, you can create a new nickname.

Try to create a unique nickname as common ones may be unavailable. When you've finished creating your new username, you can go back to the Trade page and your name will be saved.

10th Year Anniversary Trading Campaign Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions apply to the campaigns:
These Terms and Conditions apply to promotional campaigns launched by bitFlyer Europe S.A. (bitFlyer) that arise from or relate to the 10th Anniversary of bitFlyer Group. By participating in a promotional campaign, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to abide by these terms described below (Campaign Terms). If you do not agree to these Campaign Terms, you should not buy, sell or trade crypto-assets that are the subject of a promotional campaign.
1. Promotional campaigns are open for participation only for a limited time as set out in the relevant campaign information pages. If a specific start and end date (or day) is not provided, then the specific campaign shall run 7 calendar days from the time the campaign is published on bitFlyer’s website.
2. bitFlyer reserves the right to change, reduce or extend the start and end date (or day) and time for any campaign at any time at its sole discretion. BitFlyer will notify such changes, reductions or extensions on the relevant campaign information pages.
3. bitFlyer will only consider customer activity between the specific dates and times set out in the relevant campaign information pages.
4. In order to enter the campaign you must meet all applicable eligibility criteria. These include:
  - You must be over 18 years of age
  - You must have been on-boarded as a customer of bitFlyer after all necessary AML and KYC checks
  - Any fiat funds you deposit must be cleared and available for use
5. You can only have one customer account with bitFlyer. If you open multiple accounts, your accounts may be closed and you will be disqualified from the campaigns. No third party or automated entries are permitted and impersonating another account will result in disqualification. This requirement applies regardless of when bitFlyer may detect such multiple accounts. If you have already received your prize at the time bitFlyer detects such multiple accounts, you are liable to return the prize and compensate bitFlyer for any damages it may have suffered.
6. After the closing date for each campaign, the winner(s) will be selected. The conditions for selecting winners will be announced in each campaign information pages (“Winner”).
7. bitFlyer will contact the Winner using the contact information made available to us during the onboarding process in accordance with the details provided in the campaign information pages.
8. The Winner must reply within 5 business days of receiving the message to confirm:
  - they accept the prize and these terms and conditions;
  - they meet the requirements in 4 above;
  - their email address; and
  - their postal address.
9. If bitFlyer is unable to contact the Winner for any reason, or the Winner does not make contact or does not provide confirmation as set out above, bitFlyer reserves the right in its sole discretion to decide whether to select a replacement Winner or not. Any alternative Winner will be selected in accordance with these Campaign Terms.
10. bitFlyer will bear the full cost of postage of the prize (where applicable).
11. The prize may be altered or varied at bitFlyer Europe S.A.’s sole discretion. However, save for force majeure events, the prize will not be altered or varied after a campaign has been launched.
12. Save for the specific bitFlyer services that are required to buy, sell and/or trade the relevant crypto-assets, no entry charges, entry fees or purchases are necessary to participate in the campaigns.
13. bitFlyer accepts no responsibility for any customer activities including, without limitation, any buy, sell and/or trades of relevant crypto-assets that are misdirected, lost, delayed, damaged or otherwise corrupted and/or for any reason whatsoever. bitFlyer accepts no responsibility for any losses suffered by the customer’s buy, sell and/or trade activities.
14. Any personal data collected by bitFlyer Europe S.A. will be used solely for the purpose of administering this campaign and in accordance with the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.
15. All decisions by bitFlyer Europe S.A. are final. This includes, decisions on the eligibility criteria, customer onboarding requirements, processes and procedures and/or the selection of the Winner.
16. bitFlyer shall not be liable whatsoever for any entries that are not received on time as well as where any buy, sell and/or trades of relevant crypto-assets are incomplete or not executed within the stated time limits for any reason whatsoever. bitFlyer is not responsible for inaccurate details supplied to any customer by any third party connected with the campaigns, including any incorrect information on awards, prizes and/or entry requirements.
17. bitFlyer’s liability, to any customer, Winner or any other third party in relation to the campaigns shall be limited to €50.00 (unless limitations of liability are not permitted by law).
18. No cash or alternative product or compensation will be offered in the case of cancellation of the campaign. bitFlyer reserves the right to cancel and/or suspend any campaign at any time with no liability towards the customer. bitFlyer shall issue a notice on its website notifying customers of such cancellation and it shall not be liable for any such cancellations whatsoever.
19. For avoidance of doubt, the Terms of Use shall continue to apply for all matters that are not covered by these Campaign Terms.
20. All promotional campaigns and these Campaign Terms will be governed by laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
