Katsunori Kobayashi
Executive Officer & COO
After graduating from the Faculty of Environment and Information Studies at Keio University, he engaged in business operations in the financial and consulting fields at Mizuho Bank, Ltd., Citigroup Global Markets Japan Inc., and Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Co., Ltd.
In 2015, he joined the Rakuten Group, where he led the overseas expansion of its securities business. He was responsible for business development and operations from the launch stage through the growth phase, while concurrently serving as a director of four overseas securities subsidiaries.
From 2021 onward, he served successively as President of the Hong Kong and Singapore offices, overseeing businesses and organizations across multiple locations.
In April 2026, he was appointed Executive Officer and COO of bitFlyer Holdings, Inc.
